Wind and solar have no fuel costs and low maintenance costs. Coal and nuclear have high capital costs, high maintenance costs, and high "external" costs. A new wind turbine is around $2 million per megawatt of capacity. A new nuclear plant is estimated to $6 to $6.5 million per megawatt.
