Wayne Cobb is the Sea Change Marketing Coordinator, directing membership, advertising, sponsorship, and other outreach and networking efforts. Wayne began his work in environmentalism when the major turf battles were being waged over prime Maine coastal land in the 1970s. He served as Assistant Director, Coastal Consultant, and Energy Coordinator for Natural Resources Council of Maine, Maine’s affiliate of the National Wildlife Federation and the state’s largest environmental non-profit. There, Wayne directed the charge against massive oil refineries, pipelines, and outsized dam systems. He directed development and membership for the organization.
In addition to coordinating Sea Change marketing, Wayne is also an active volunteer with Green Decade Coalition, a highly successful local sustainability group in Newton, Massachusetts.
