We often hear about vertical economic growth and vertical integration in business but the idea of growing our food vertically sounds fantastical. Our guest this week on Sea Change Radio is Dr. Dickson Despommier, a microbiologist and ecologist who’s a leading proponent of vertical farming, a concept that argues the viability of cultivating plant or animal life within skyscrapers.
